Hi my name is Aleks! I am a bilingual Polish/English Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in feeding/swallowing in infants and young children, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, a Certified Neonatal Therapist, and I am also Neonatal Touch and Massage Therapist Certified. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Iona College in New Rochelle, NY and my Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. I completed my Clinical Fellowship in Neonatal and Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and acute Pediatric floors.

As a full-time clinician working with premature, medically fragile infants and complex pediatric patients, I work to provide assessment and treatment of feeding and swallowing disorders, lactation support to caregivers of breastfeeding infants and their infants, and facilitate neuroprotective care strategies to promote bonding and development within a Family Centered Care Model.

I voluntarily collaborate with Project Sweet Peas, a non-profit organization working to support families of premature or sick infants and to those who have been affected by pregnancy and infant loss. I also voluntarily sit on the Board of Advisors for the National Perinatal Association, where I collaborate with various professionals in promoting access to care for individuals in the prenatal, perinatal and postnatal periods.

In my free time I enjoy reading psychological thriller novels, staying active, playing with my fur baby Binx, and taking walks around the water by Hoboken with my fiance, Danielle.
