Dr. Shawna Townsend, OTD, OTR/L, IBCLC, CNT, NTMTC, SWC has earned a clinical doctoral degree in occupational therapy and holds additional specialization as a:

• Certified Neonatal Therapist
• International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant
• Neonatal Developmental Specialist
• Neonatal Touch & Massage Certified Therapist

She has been an occupational therapist for 21 years with experience across the life span.  Shawna has been an adjunct faculty member at her alma mater CSU Dominguez Hills for the last 12 years teaching kinesiology, pediatric conditions, and pediatric interventions. In addition, Dr. Townsend is an adjunct faculty member at Baylor University assisting with children and youth lab immersions and serving as a capstone mentor. Dr. Townsend has advanced practice and expertise in pediatric feeding and swallowing. She has worked full time in large level IV’s NICU’s throughout Southern California for the past 15 years.

**In-Home Appointment Guidelines:

• Additional $50 per appointment within Travel Radius:
  • South Bay Area including Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Torrance, El Segundo, Lomita, Hawthorne, Lawndale, Carson. (California)
• Additional $30 for every 15-minutes outside of Travel radius:
