Ashley is a Florida State licensed speech-language pathologist and holds additional certifications including: 

• Certified Neonatal Therapist 
• Neonatal Touch & Massage Therapist  

She has specialized training in:

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program 
• Supporting Oral Feeding in Fragile Infants  (SOFFI)
• Sequential Oral Sensory Approach to Feeding (SOS)
• Food Chaining 

Ashley has spent over 17 years helping NICU babies learn to feed safely, grow and meet developmental milestones. She is trained to provide gentle and therapeutic techniques such as infant touch & massage and special feeding methods.

Ashley completed her clinical fellowship at Vanderbilt Medical Center and then spent years at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta caring for the tiniest and most fragile infants- including with babies born early, with heart or breathing challenges, with surgical needs, and those who required extra support to feed safely. She helped lead the neonatal therapy team and infant feeding programs at CHOA Egleston level IV NICU, cardiac intensive care, pediatric intensive care and trach/vent dependent units. She is also skilled at evaluating swallowing physiology and safety for patients with complex medical needs. 

Today, Ashley works in a Florida NICU and helps guide statewide efforts to improve care for premature and fragile infants. Her focus is to help parents read their baby's cues and feel confident caring for them at home. 

Outside work, Ashley loves the outdoors, traveling, the beach, and spending time with her family- including with her partner Kevin and their 2 doodle-girls Bella and Bear.
