She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Villanova University and her Master of Science in speech-language pathology from NYU. Cat has worked in various settings since obtaining her licensure over 15 years ago, including NICU, PICU, pediatric long term care, outpatient and home care.
As a full time clinician working with medically fragile infants and complex pediatric patients, Cat collaborates closely with families and medical providers to provide family-centered, compassionate care. Cat served as interim Department Chair for the Speech-Language Pathology MSEd program at Monmouth University, where she taught as a specialist professor for 5 years. She developed the graduate level pediatric feeding and swallowing course within the SLP program and taught it for several years. Cat also worked closely with other faculty to develop a high-fidelity clinical simulation for advanced dysphagia training for graduate students.
