Dr. Louisa Ferrara-Gonzalez founded Infant Feeding Specialists Inc. from a personal and professional commitment to infants and families who need extra support after hospital discharge. The idea began in 2022 and—after careful planning and piloting—became a reality in 2025. She personally designed the practice’s clinical model with a hands‑on, evidence‑informed, trial‑and‑refine approach to deliver practical, compassionate care that produces measurable improvement.

Having struggled to feed her own infant son because of severe reflux, she personally felt the overwhelming worry, stress, frustration, and exhaustion that so many parents know all too well. That intimate experience reshaped her professional trajectory: she dove into advanced training, practical problem‑solving, and collaboration with pediatric specialists so she could ease those same fears for other families.
