Samantha is a Florida State Licensed pediatric speech-language pathologist specializing in feeding and swallowing in infants and children.  She holds additional training and certifications in:

• Premature Infant Oral Motor Intervention (PIOMI)
• BabyVFSSImP 

Samantha has a strong passion for premature and medically complex infants, with over five years of clinical experience across Level II–IV Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs), pediatric acute care, specialty clinics, and outpatient pediatric settings.

Samantha earned both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Purdue University. While at Purdue, she worked in the Imaging, Evaluation, and Treatment of Swallowing Disorders Laboratory, where she participated in NIH-funded research focused on swallowing, feeding, and motor speech. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international conferences.

Throughout her clinical career, Samantha has worked extensively with premature, medically fragile, and developmentally complex infants and children. She has provided assessment and treatment of feeding and swallowing disorders, oral-motor and developmental intervention, caregiver education, and neurodevelopmentally supportive care in the NICU, PICU, inpatient pediatric, and outpatient settings. Her experience also includes instrumental swallowing assessment through videofluoroscopic swallow studies (VFSS) and fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES), as well as multidisciplinary care through feeding, BPD, cardiac, craniofacial, and Down syndrome clinics.

Samantha is passionate about providing individualized, evidence-based feeding care while helping caregivers feel confident in understanding and responding to their child’s cues. She believes families are an essential part of the feeding team and strives to make feeding experiences safe, positive, and developmentally supportive for both children and their caregivers.

Outside of work, Samantha loves staying active and spending time outdoors. In her free time, you can usually find her hiking, running, playing with her golden retriever, Mackey, reading a good book, spending time at the beach, or traveling to visit family.
